We were given the chance to design the backyard for our friend, now turned client, situated at The Meadows in Dubai. Our client came with a clear vision in mind, and we assisted in transforming it into a stunning yet practical outdoor area. This space features a pergola with an outdoor kitchen, a meditation corner, and landscaping tailored to suit Dubai's hot and humid climate.
Our client brief: They desired a minimalistic ambiance with a touch of Japandi style for their outdoor patio and pergola. They envisioned a space where they could entertain guests during pleasant weather while requiring minimal maintenance in the summer months. The request included an outdoor kitchen counter with a barbecue grill and durable furniture to complement the overall theme. While keeping the landscaping simple, the emphasis was on selecting low-maintenance plants capable of withstanding Dubai's intense heat.
